ABOUT THE GIDDINGS ROOM NAME.
This room is named after the first Euro-American child born in Fort Collins, Colorado, Agnes Mason Giddings, who was born in 1867 in the Auntie Stone cabin on the site of the old Camp Collins. Her father was Augustine Mason, brother of Joe Mason, who is responsible for the present location of Fort Collins.
